Enlarged Heart.

Increasing the size of the heart is not a disease, but a sign of any other disease. It is also called cardiomegaly in English. The enlarged heart detected with the help of chest X-ray or any other image-making test is called "cardioagly".

 Due to the emphasis on the body, your heart size can be temporarily large, due to the pregnancy, or medical condition such as weakness of the heart muscles, coronary artery disease, heart valves, or abnormal heart beat.

 Due to some situations, the heart muscles may be thick or spreading of one of the four parts of the heart may increase the size of the heart. Depending on the condition, the heart may be temporarily or permanently larger.

 Symptoms of Enlarged Heart.

 In some people, there are no symptoms of heart movements. Other people may see the following symptoms:

 * Inhalation
 * Arrhythmia
 * swelling

 The faster the heart knows, the easier it becomes to treat it. So if you have any kind of worry about your heart then talk to your doctor.

 If you experience any of the following symptoms, which may mean that you are having a heart attack, go to the hospital for emergency medical care:

 * Pain in chest
 * Excessive breath
 * Unconsciousness
 * Trouble in other areas of the upper body, in which one or both hands, back, neck, jaw or stomach are involved
 Causes of Enlarged Heart

 Due to the loss of the heart muscles or pumping in the heart more difficult than normal, the size of the heart becomes more than normal. Sometimes due to unknown reasons the heart grows and becomes weak.

 Heart problems due to congenital heart, heart attack or abnormal heart beat (arrhythmia) can cause heart to grow. Other conditions for increasing heart size include:

 1. High BP

 Your heart may have to pump in a difficult way to deliver blood to the rest of your body, increase muscles and thicken it.

 High BP can increase the size of the left ventricle, which weakens the heart muscles. High blood pressure can also increase the size of the upper chambers of your heart.

 2. Heart valve disease.

 Help your blood flow in the right direction in four valves in your heart. If valves are damaged due to conditions such as rheumatic fever, heart disease, infection, connective tissue disorder, some medicines for treatment of cancer and radiation therapy, your heart may increase.

 3. Cardiomyopathy.

 The thickness and hardness of the heart muscles increases, so the heart can be larger due to trying to pump more blood in the body.

 4. High BP (pulmonary hypertension) in the artery connecting the heart and lungs.

 Your heart may need to work hard to bring blood between your lungs and your heart. Which can cause your heart to grow on the right side.

 5. Red blood cell deficiency (Anemia).

 Anemia is a condition in which tissues do not have enough oxygen due to lack of healthy red blood cells. If untreated, long-term anemia can lead to heartbeat or irregularity. For the lack of oxygen in the blood, your heart should pump more blood.

 6. Thyroid.

 There is a problem of thyroid problem by making more or less hormone of Thyroid gland, which can lead to heart-related heart disease and other diseases.

 7. Excessive iron intake in the body (Hemochromatosis).

 It is a disorder in which your body is not properly digested iron, which makes it soaked in various organs including your heart. It weakens the heart muscles, thereby increasing the size of the left ventricle.

 8. Rare disorders that can affect your heart, such as Amyloidosis.

 Amyloidosis is a disease in which abnormal proteins spread to the blood and stored in the heart, can interfere with your heart's function and increase its size.

 The probability of this is due to the following reasons:

 * In the family, there is a growing heart or cardiomyopathy.
If you have a close relationship with one such parent or brother's heart, then the chances of your heart increase.

 * Coronary artery disease.
 In this situation, there is obstruction to blood flow through your heart vessels, which can lead to heart attack. When a group of cardiac muscles does not work, then your heart needs to work hard to pump enough blood in your body, which increases the size of the heart

 * congenital heart disease.
 If you are born with a condition that affects the structure of your heart, then you may be at risk of developing a large heart.

 * High BP.
 By having more than 140/90 millimeters BP, you are at risk of developing heart.

 * Heart valve disease.
 There are four valves in the heart, which open or close at the time of blood care. The heart can increase heart conditions.

 * Heart attack.
 The risk of heart attack increases the risk of increased heart size.

 Prevention of Enlarged Heart.

 * If your family had such a problem in the past that there is a risk of heart failure such as cardiomyopathy, then tell your doctor about it. If the test of cardiomyopathy or other cardiovascular diseases is quick, then the disease can be prevented from becoming serious by treatment.

* Controlling risk factors such as tobacco consumption of coronary artery disease, tobacco consumption, high BP, high cholesterol and diabetes help reduce the risk of heart attack and increase the risk of heart failure and decrease the risk of heart failure.

* The possibility of having a heart attack can be reduced without eating healthy food and not using alcohol or using illegal drugs. By controlling high BP with diet, exercise and proper medicines, many people whose heart is raised, can avoid their heart failure.
