Home Remedies for Neck Pain.

To maintain the movement and structure of the neck, it is important to keep its function and movements healthy. When there is a pain in our neck, it is very difficult to turn it around and it creates obstacles in doing any work because all our attention is rotating.
 Pain in neck, shoulders and surrounding muscles is normal or severe. It can lead to headache, numbness, hardness, stroke, tingling, pain in swallowing etc. Pain in the neck is due to many reasons. The main reason is that due to bad condition, muscle tension and pulling and working for hours without break.

 Other causes like lack of nutrients, neck injury etc. In such cases, due to the fact that the spine is infected and the cancer of the spine also occurs. In most of the time, neck pain is not a serious problem, it can be cured by using home remedies.

 1. Apple cider vinegar.

 Apple vinegar contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that help reduce pain or swelling. Along with this, there are many nutrients that are also available to relieve pain.

 How to use Apple cider vinegar?

 First Way.

 1. Put one handkerchief in apple vinegar,squeez it and put on your neck after.
 2. Leave it for a few hours.
 3. Do this procedure twice in whole day.

 Second Way.

 1. In addition, add two cups of apple vinegar to the bathtub.
 2. Now sit in it for 15 minutes.
 3. Keep in mind that the mixture is used on your neck.

 2. Ice pack.

 Ice is the easiest solution for neck pain. Cold temperature will help to relieve neck swelling and pain.
 1. First of all, keep ice crushed on a towel.
 2. Now wrap the towels.
 3. Now put the towel on your neck and do not keep it for more than 15 minutes.
 4. Keep repeating this process every two or three hours for one day.

 Note: Do not use ice directly on your skin.

 3. Ginger.

 Ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory that improves circulation and blood flow to the affected areas. This helps in reducing pain and swelling.
 First Way.

 1. Chop the ginger first in small pieces.
 2. Now for 10 minutes, put two pieces of ginger in water and keep it for boiling.
 3. Now filter it and mix honey in it and drink this hot tea.
 4. You can drink this tea three times in a whole day. 

 Second Way.

 1. In addition to this you can add one or half teaspoon ginger powder to a glass of water and drink it.
 2. Drink this mixture three times a day for a few days.

 Third Way.

 1. You can also compresses ginger besides this.
 2. Put three spoons of ginger in a cloth.
 3. Now put this cloth and put it in hot water for 30 seconds.
 4. After cooling, keep it in your affected areas for 15 to 20 minutes.
 5. Repeat this process until the pain is gone.

 4. Exercises.

 There are many types of exercises to relieve pain from the neck. Exercise will gain strength and stability of the neck muscles. Simultaneously, the upper part of the waist will also get relief. Apart from this, it will also help in removing stress. Two types of exercises will help you to relieve pain and treat it.

 1. Slowly rotate your neck. Start rotating round neck slowly like clock. This will cause you little pain in the beginning but it will open up your muscles and help in treating it too.

 2. Apart from this, you can move the neck back and forth to the right, left to right. Try to do each session five times. Do three sessions daily. If you have a lot of pain in doing this exercise then do not exercise and show your doctor as soon as possible.

 5. Turmeric.

 You can use turmeric to treat neck pain. Curcumin present in turmeric is one of the most important phytochemicals that works like anti-inflammatory and relieves pain. Along with that turmeric improves blood circulation.
 1. Mix one spoon turmeric in a glass of milk.
 2. Put this mixture to boil for five minutes.
 3. Now remove it from the gas and put honey in it for cooling.
 4. Then drink this mixture.
 5. Drink this mixture twice a day.

 6. Lavender Oil.

 Lavender oil is used to remove neck pain. It is very effective during massage therapy. Massage will open your muscles and you will not have any problem in sleeping too.

 1. First take a bath with hot water, which will help relax your nerves.
 2. Now rub the lavender oil in your neck and shoulders in some quantity.
 3. Massage the affected area with a little pressure for 10 minutes.

 Note: If you have pain while doing massage in your neck then do not massage, just apply oil on affected area.

 7. Hydrotherapy.

 Hydrotherapy is another effective remedy for neck pain. It can be used easily while bathing. The rapid flow of water will help to reduce your pain.   

 1. Use the hot water directly from the shower and keep its fast around your neck for three to four minutes.
 2. After hot, use cold water for 30 to 60 seconds on your neck in the same way.
 3. Hot water will increase your blood circulation and cold water will help to remove inflammation.

 Note: When you are under the shower, keep in mind that do not shake your neck around and keep your head straight.
