Home Remedies for Indigestion.

Indigestion, which is also called dyspepsia is caused by the problem of secretion of digestive juices in the stomach. Usually, indigestion is also spicy, fatty, or over-eating. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), intestinal syndrome, stress or anxiety, obesity, ulcer, stomach infection, thyroid disease, smoking and some 
drugs can be worse.


 Some symptoms of indigestion such as swelling, gas, stomach pain, burning of upper abdomen, acidic flavor and vomiting etc. You can also get relief from indigestion symptoms from the contents available in your kitchen. 

For example, as soon as you start the problem of indigestion, drink a little water will help you increase gastric pH.

 There are many other measures that you can use for the problem of dyspepsia. 

 1. Ginger 

 Ginger stimulates the flow of digestive juices and enzymes. Ginger also helps digest your food. Ginger is considered an effective remedy for indigestion. Especially when you eat more food. After eating more food, you can sprinkle some salt in fresh ginger and chew it.
 1. Mix two teaspoons ginger juice, one spoon lemon juice and one pinch of salt.
 2. Now you can drink this mixture with water or without water.

 * Drink one teaspoon of ginger juice and one teaspoon honey in a cup of hot water and drink it.
                                  OR

 1. You can also drink ginger tea made at home, with the help of which you will not have problems like swelling, wheezing, gas and abdominal pain.

 2. To make ginger tea, put one teaspoon grated ginger in a cup of water and keep it for 5 to 10 minutes to boil.

 3. Drink this mixture after boiling.

 * The use of ginger in the food will make your food delicious, as well as problems associated with stomach will also be less.

 2. Apple Cider Vinegar

 Apple vinegar is often used to cure digestion. Alkalizing effect in it helps in removing your dyspepsia.

 1. Mix one spoon raw and untreated apple vinegar in one cup of water.
 2. Now add one spoon of raw honey.
 3. Now after mixing this mixture well, drink it twice or thrice in the entire day. This will give you quick relief.

 3. Baking soda

 Due to the amount of acid stomach being too high. Baking soda is the simplest and effective remedy for this problem because it acts like an antacid.

 1. Mix one or half spoon baking soda in one half glass water.
 2. Now drink this mixture.

 4. Fennel seed
  
 For the problems of indigestion due to spicy or fatty food, the fennel seeds are really very helpful. Fennel seeds contain volatile oil which removes your nausea and stomach problem.

 1. First, fry the Fennel seeds, then grind it and filter it.
 2. Now mix this powder in half a teaspoon of water.
 3. Then use this remedy twice a day.

 5. Carom.

 Carom seeds, also known as bishops' grass or celery. Celery contains digestive traits and artificial properties that treat the problems of your indigestion and diarrhea.

 1. Mix some carom seeds and dry ginger together and prepare a powder.
 2. Now put one spoon of this mixture in a cup of hot water with black pepper and drink this mixture.
 3. Make sure to use this mixture one or two times throughout the day.

                                 OR

 1. Chew one or half spoonful carom seed.
 2. This will give you relief from the problem of dyspepsia.

 6. Herbal tea

 After eating more, you must drink herbal tea. This will solve the problem of your dyspepsia.

 How to use herbal tea?

 1. Immerse the herbal tea bag in a cup of hot water.
 2. Now heat the mixture hot.

                         OR

 Mint tea and chamomile tea are particularly beneficial for resting the stomach and problems related to stomach problems.

 7. Cumin

 Cumin has been used in connection with digestive problems such as nausea, diarrhea, flatulence, dysentery etc. 

 1. Roast one spoon cumin seeds and prepare powder.
 2. Now put one spoon powder in a glass of water and drink it.

                          OR

 1. To cure heavyness in the stomach, drink a spoon of roasted cumin powder and one spoon of black pepper and mix it in a glass of mustard. 
  
 2. Drink this mixture two or three times a day for a few days.

 8. Coriander  

 Coriander is a very effective spice that treats indigestion as it promotes the production of digestive enzymes and also helps in resting the stomach.

 1. Drink a spoonful of roasted coriander seeds in a glass of mustard and drink it.
 2. Make sure to use this mixture one or two times throughout the day.

 9. Cinnamon

 This spice will prove to be very helpful in your dyspepsia problem. Cinnamon helps in the digestive process and relieves inflammation.

 1. To make cinnamon tea, add one or half spoon cinnamon powder to a cup of hot water.
 2. Now keep it boiling for a few minutes.
 3. Drink this mixture hot.

 10. Basil

 Basil is an excellent Ayurvedic remedy for indigestion and acidity. 


 1. Mix one teaspoon basil into one cup hot water and keep boiling for 10 minutes.
 2. Drink this three cups all day.
