Liver cancer.

Liver is a football-shaped organ, which is located in the upper right part of your stomach. The correct position is above your diaphragm and above your stomach. Liver cancer starts in your liver cells and destroys them, as well as interferes with the activities of the liver.
The most common form of Liver cancer is hepatocellular carcinoma, which starts in the main type of liver cell, called Hepotocytes.

The cancer that spreads in the liver after starting in another area of the body, such as the colon, lung or breast, is called metastatic cancer rather than liver cancer. The name of this type of cancer is named after the organ in which it starts. For example, the cancer that started in the colon is called metastatic colon cancer.

 Types of Liver Cancer.

 1. Hepatocellular carcinoma: Hepatocellular carcinoma is also called Hepatoma, HCC liver is the most common type of cancer, which causes about 75 percent of liver cancer cases. HCC begins in the main type of liver cells, called Hepatocellular Cell. Most cases of HCC are due to infection of cirrhosis of the liver due to hepatitis B or C or alcohol.

 2. Fibrolamellar HCC: It is a rare type of HCC that is usually more susceptible to treatment than other types of liver cancer.

 3. Bile duct cancer: This cancer occurs in small, tube-like bile ducts within the liver, which connects the bile to the gallbladder. It occurs in 10-20 percent of all liver cancer cases.

 4. Angiosarcoma: Angiosarcoma is also called hemangiosarcoma, which occurs in about 1% of liver cancer cases. It starts in blood vessels and rises quickly.

 5. Liver metastasis: This cancer develops when the cancer spreads from the second part of the body to the liver. Most liver metastases originate from the colon. Liver metastasis also develops to more than half the people with colon cancer.

 Stages of Liver Cancer.

 1. First stage - The first stage of liver cancer means that the tumor is not developed in the blood vessels and the cancer is not spread in nearby lymph nodes.

 2. Second stage - The second stage means that the tumor has evolved into blood vessels or many small tumors have evolved and the cancer has not spread in nearby lymph nodes.

 3. Third stage - The third stage of liver cancer consists of the following three sub-types

 i) First - this means that many tumors are present and at least one inches (5 cm) larger and the cancer is not spread in the lymph nodes.

ii) Second - it means that many tumors are present and at least one tumor is growing in a branch of the pulse and the cancer is not spread in the lymph nodes.

iii) Third - This means that the tumor has spread to an adjacent organ or the outer cover of the liver and is not spread in nearby lymph nodes or elsewhere.

 4. Fourth stage - The liver is the most advanced stage of cancer. In this, the cancer spreads to the nearby lymph nodes and can grow in nearby blood vessels or organs. Advanced liver cancer often does not spread in distant parts, but when this happens, it is possible to spread its lungs and bones.

 Symptoms of Liver Cancer.

Most people do not have some symptoms of liver cancer in the primary stage but when they occur, it may include the following symptoms:

 Liver Cancer Risk Factors.

The following factors that increase the risk of liver cancer are:

 1. Severe infection of Hepatitis B or C - Hepatitis B virus (HBV) or hepatitis C virus (HCV) increases the risk of liver cancer.

 2. Cirrhosis - This progressive and irreversible illness causes a scar tissue in your liver and increases the likelihood of liver cancer.

 3. Some genetic liver disease - some genetic diseases such as hemochromatosis and Wilson's disease, increase the risk of your liver cancer.

 4. People with diabetes are more prone to liver cancer.

 5. Fat - The collection of fat in the liver increases the risk of liver cancer.

 6. Drinking excessive alcohol - Drinking alcohol every day for many years can increase the risk of liver damage and liver cancer.
