Home Remedies for Knee Pain.

Pain in the knees is a very common problem, which is due to repeated wear of knee over time due to friction. This problem is most commonly felt by the elderly and the adults. Pain may occur in any area of ​​the knee bones such as femur, tibia and fibula, upper knee bone, patella or ligament and cartilage etc. 


 Pain in knees can be felt due to weak bone or due to aging. Other common causes such as fracture, injury in the ligament, injury in meniscus, stroke of bones due to rheumatism and loss of from one place to another, knee pain due to lupus and other chronic diseases. In addition to pain, you may have other symptoms such as knee stroke, swelling, redness, numbness on affected areas, and difficulty standing or walking. You do not ignore the knee pain in your day-to-day work. Treat them with some easy and simple home remedies.


 These home remedies can be used for general or serious pain. These remedies can also be used for pain, such as arthritis due to the rising age. If your pain is not correct then be sure to show your doctor.

 1. Cold compress for knee pain.

 Use a cold bag when knee pain, it will remove your swelling and pain. This will reduce the blood vessels, reduce blood flow to the affected areas, and will also help to remove swelling.
 1. Take a some ice and wrap it in some towels or clothes.
 2. Place towels or clothes on the affected areas for 10 to 20 minutes.
 3. Do this process two or three times or all day until the pain is gone.

 2. Apple cider vinegar.

 Apple cider vinegar is also helpful in reducing knee pain. Due to its alkaline effect, vinegar generates minerals and helps to eliminate toxic substances from knee joints. It brings lubrication in the joints, which reduces pain and stimulates mobility. 

 First way

 1. Mix two teaspoons of apple vinegar in two cups of water.
 2. After mixing this mixture well, drink it.
 3. Drink the mixture daily until the pain is gone.

 Second way

 1. Mix two cups of apples in a hot water bath tub or bucket.
 2. Now keep your affected areas in it for half an hour.
 3. Keep doing this process for a few days all day.

 Third way

 1. You mix one teaspoon apple vinegar and olive oil.
 2. Now use this mixture as a massage on the knees.
 3. Do not make the mixture one or two times throughout the day until the pain does not go away.

 3. Ginger.

 If pain in your knees is due to arthritis, muscle tension or injury, then ginger is very effective for reducing pain. There are anti-inflammatory properties in it. Ginger helps to reduce knee swelling and pain.

 1. Cut the fresh ginger first and crush it again.
 2. Now crush them in a cup of water and keep boiling for ten minutes.
 3. Now filter this mixture and mix equal amount of honey and lemon juice in it.
 4. After mixing this mixture well, drink it.
 5. Drink milk or two cups of water daily until the pain is gone.  

 4. Turmeric.

 Turmeric is extremely effective and natural remedy for knee pain. Turmeric contain Curcumin, which contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which help in reducing pain. Turmeric reduces arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis), which is the main cause of knee pain.
 1. Mix one spoon turmeric powder in a glass of milk.
 2. Now mix it with honey and drink it once a day.
 3. In addition, you take 250 to 500 mg turmeric capsules.
 4. Eat it three times throughout the day.
 5. Use these measures until the pain is gone.

 Note: Turmeric can dilute the blood, so this remedy is not suitable for those people who are consuming  blood thinning medicines. 

 5. Lemon juice.

 Lemon is also a very effective home remedy for pain in knee caused by rheumatism. Citric acid present in lemon acts like a solvent for uric acid crystals, which is the cause of some type of arthritis.

 1. Cut one or two lemon into small pieces.
 2. Tie these pieces in cotton cloth and immerse it in sesame oil.
 3. Now hold this cloth on the affected areas for ten minutes.
 4. Make this process two times throughout the day until the pain is gone.

 6. Mustard oil.

 According to Ayurveda, massage with hot mustard oil will remove swelling, improve blood flow, pain will be removed.

 1. Heat two spoons of mustard oil.
 2. Now put garlic fry in it and heat until it becomes brown.
 3. Now filter the oil and keep it cool.
 4. Now massage your knees with this lukewarm oil.
 5. Cover your knees with a cloth and use hot towels on it to keep warm.
 6. Do this course twice a day for one or two weeks.

 7. Fenugreek seeds.

 Fenugreek seeds have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that help relieve knee pain. Apart from this, fenugreek seeds are naturally warm and are beneficial for those people who have pain in the knees due to rheumatism.
  
 1. Soak one spoonful of fenugreek seeds overnight.
 2. Take out the water in the morning and chew those seeds.
 3. Do this procedure for one or two weeks throughout the day.

 8. Eucalyptus oil.

 Eucalyptus oil contains analgesic or pain relief properties that help in getting rid of acne pain. The cold feeling of this oil will bring relief to arthritis pain. According to a research, even if you smell this oil, you will also get relief from knee pain and swelling.

 1. Mix five to seven Eucalypti oil and pulp oil drops together.
 2. Then mix two teaspoon olive oil in it.
 3. Keep this mixture away from the sun and cover it in a dark place.
 4. Whenever you are suffering from knees, then apply this mixture to your affected areas.
 5. Relax with this oil, massage the rest, so that the oil reaches inside the skin.
